| At the Parque de las Ciencias your experience with science will
be both pleasing and attractive. Over 270 interactive activities spread out among two
exhibition buildings and other areas such as the Planetarium, the Tropical Butterfly
House, the Observation Tower or the Astronomy Garden will help you to discover and
understand certain scientific principles and phenomena. We invite you to take part in
this exciting journey through science and the universe. We welcome you and hope you

A Park: Science in the Open Air
The Parque de las Ciencias is an open-air museum. There are over
30,000 m2 of outdoor space holding the different premises and scientific experiences.
The main building, with the most up-to-date facilities, is divided into two separate
areas, joined by a large glass hall. The rooms in this building hold the permanent
exhibitions: Biosphere, Eureka, Perception and Explore. Outside, the Marie Curie Plaza
is surrounded by the other buildings: the Observation Tower, the Astronomy Garden, the
Tropical Butterfly House, the Botanical Walks, the Plant Labyrinth or the
"Almazara" (oil mill). Each year, in the Temporary Exhibition Pavilion, you
can visit new exhibitions on science and technology. All these areas are signposted
with their own monoliths.
There are many ways to move around the Park. Nonetheless, we
